So in doing some research I came across.
- Take a pH level test using either saliva or urine. The test can be purchased at your local health market or online.
- Chlorophyll can help balance your pH. It is suggested to take 1 tsp of a liquid chlorophyll powered supplement in water up to eight times a day. Other alkalizing foods are figs, bananas, watermelon and dandelion greens.
- Add more acidic foods to balance a highly alkaline pH with eggs, wine, aged cheeses, fish and prunes.
- Check out a pH Balance Chart http://www.naturalhealthschool.com/pH-balance.html
- Detox. Here is a quick detox diet suggested for women: http://www.womentowomen.com/detoxification/detoxdiet.aspx
- More information on Acid and Alkaline foods http://www.happyherbalist.com/alkaline_acid_balance.htm
- I hope this comes in handy for someone. It is not just a sluggest feeling that makes me think my pH is off but I think now is a good time to check my body and get things in order since winter is a slower time of year.
Let me know if you have ever taken a look at your pH or want more information. I am always up for sharing.
Have a wonderful day and stay healthy.
