It Is Done

The secret, vision board and other tools of visualizing your goals has really been a consistent practice of mine. I have used it in my daily life and seen real results.  I try to teach my family to do the same thing.  The thing I try to remember is what God has for me will be mine and speaking life to goodness will always have positive results whether it is obtaining what I want or something even better.

In this year I claim increaae, happiness and living my dreams. It started January 1st and continues.  I look forward to the adventure each day has for me.

So don't hold on to what hasn't happened but live in the possibilities.  It is so much waiting for you. If you believe it is done.

Do It!!!!!

I have been reading and listening to a lot of motivational information to help me reach my goals for this year. This time of year is the best time to grasp some good material that helps you feel like you can conquer the world. The issue I notice is that after January the effort to supply this material slacks off and then it is back to business as usual. I hope that this year I make a change and stick to it. I know it is ambitious but it is possible. I want better but not just to talk about but to walk in it. I want to walk in the new me that is in love with the life I live fully. Not to say that things won't come up. Not to say that I won't have bad days but to understand that I am walking in the moments that I appreciate.

Are you doing it or talking about it?

Be the BEST you in 2014!

January Challenge: No Buy

You read the title correctly. My family is doing a no buy for January. Not because we are silly but it is good to take a break from going wild after the holidays. We got the family and children gifts so now we need to regroup and prepare for a successful 2014.

No a no buy does not mean we won't be paying our bills or taking care of our necessaties like the car needing to be fixed but really budgeting and sticking to it. I came across a wonderful blogger that is instructing this challenge and it gives a great detail to how to be successful in a no buy.

The just is
Budget
Don't Eat Out
Use Cash
Be Realistic

You start off with your budget (bills and groceries, listing what you will purchase (birthday cards, stamps, etc.) and things you don't want to purchase (starbucks coffee).

I did it last year for February and it was amazing how much was saved and all the fun I had at home. I think this is a awesome way start the year and get your finances in order.

If you are interested in joining this challenge visit http://www.livingwellspendingless.com/2012/09/30/31-days-challenge-ground-rules/ Let me know if you decide to join.

Hope your New Year is starting out great.
