Alexandria Cupcake hmmm

I am not big on the cupcake rave but since their is a new spot new me I thought I would try it out. I wanted to be able to say I tried something different and let you know how I felt about it.

So here we go.

I ordered the Vanilla Bean cupcake. The place is very nice and clean inside. Only one table and chair though. They don't want people hanging out inside I guess.

So I got it wrapped up so that I could eat it the way I want to in a cool location.

I took the top off the cupcake and went to work. I eat the frosting first because that is my style. It was just like bean. Yummy! After most of the frosting was gone I worked on the cupcake itself. It was ok but kinda dry. I was expecting the works for $3.15.

As I got close to the end I saw a foreign object. My mama always said don't eat things that you cannot identify with. This might mean a trip back to the store.

Anyway I have decided that I should've stayed away from the cupcake rave but since I tried it I am still not impressed. I am sticking to my love for the all time favorites strawberry shortcake, pineapple upside down cake and lemon meringue pie.

Oh Well I have learned once again the hard way.

Yoga

I always wanted to try yoga to see how it could benefit me.

I did it for awhile in the basement of a church but could not seem to get my body to do what the instructor displayed.

It is possible that I will try again since this is DC Yoga Week. Maybe as time has passed my body is ready to be stretched to the limits.

Keep It To Yourself

As I sit at a networking event this guy comes over and talks to me and my friend. He was really nice. He offered to buy me a drink but no alcohol for this one.

He sat beside me and just started to talk about all kinda things. It was ok until I started I felt something wet with air. I thought maybe I had taken a daydream moment and was at the spa. No! As he was talking the spit flowed with air. Come on sir!

Be mindful when you are out to networking to not spray people.

I am just saying!
